Virginia, USA. We have Elvenwood Tollers showing their versatility in such areas as freestyle, obedience, rally, tracking, hunting, therapy work, conformation, and being loving family pets, both here and in a number of wonderful homes. All the Tollers in our homes enjoy classes, hiking, swimming, tolling in ducks and geese, and going to events such as the annual Scottish Walk in Portsmouth and the occasional Land Rover Rally (check out the picture of Harriet "driving" a Land Rover Ambulance that was originally published in Land Rover International magazine.)
Of course, they also have fun harassing the squirrels, the frogs, and the other small creatures who live in our back yards, and chasing bumpers and balls ("throw it again, again, again") - the everyday joys of life. We try to remember that Tollers are first and foremost, a hunting breed, and have no wish to see them divided into "show" and "field" lines - our breeding programme takes that into consideration. The same attributes that make a good hunting Toller make a good agility, flyball, or tracking Toller. Our Tollers are, above all, good companions; as we say, they are "Loving, Able, and Enthusiastic"!
